When Abu Bakr al Baghdadi took over leadership of Islamic State from his predecessor, Umar Baghdadi he was cautioned by non-other than UBL, to move slowly and win the hearts and minds of Muslims, both Sunni and Shiite in establishing the Caliphate. Bakr’s response, ‘f—k off’, this is my show. Abu Bakr al Baghdadi was and still is using a philosophy espoused by the, as of today, still unknown author, of a book titled, “Management of Savagery’. While authorship is attributed to one, Abu Bakr Naji, it has been determined that no such person exists. Be that as it may, the premise of the book is that savagery and terror can and should be used to elicit more immediate compliance. Baghdadi skipped the, ‘win the hearts and minds’ phase and went right to the ‘slaughter’ phase to gain compliance of both Sunni and Shiite Muslims in his move to strengthen Islamic State and assure his position as Caliph. The premise that people can be forced or coerced into agreeing with you and supporting your position has unfortunately been adopted by many in America today as evidenced by the actions of Hillary supporters and now protestors, and it will, if not addressed strongly, lead to a severe backlash. While it is true that only a coward will hide behind the crowd, as these cowards are doing, the fact is, even a coward can generate extreme chaos and cause extreme damage. The use of force and violence to quell support for ‘candidate’ Trump has morphed into a use of force and violence to overthrow his election. That won’t work obviously, but there’ll come a time, and it may be soon, when it will contribute to a response that may be just as violent. Many in the mainstream believe our nation may be heading toward a civil war. If the riots are not strongly addressed by authorities, and soon, we may be headed toward a really dark time in America. Obviously, those who have chosen to respond to Donald Trump’s victory with such violence, will be marginalized at some point, or will just get hungry and go home to mother, but it just may be too late to avoid the natural reaction to their action. Authorities, backed by the moral authority of the, still president Barack Obama, need to take a strong hand, before this happens.
